Tidskriftscentralen är samarbetspartner tillsammans med andra tidskriftsorganisationer i en nordisk konferens för kulturtidskrifter i Bergen i Norge 25–26.5.2022. We have some news regarding our conference for cultural journals in the Nordic countries. Due to all the pandemic uncertainties, we have decided to arrange a hybride event after all. We also moved it to an earlier date the same week. For those who would like to participate in the physical meetings, the event is two days (from lunch to lunch May 25-26).
We hope that many of you would like to attend physically. We’re offering accommodation for those who travel to Bergen.
For those who join us digitally, the event is only on Wednesday May 25.
Digital plattform on Coeo
The conference will run from Coeo, a digital plattform which also will work as a home for our network after this event. Here, all participants will be able to upload their profile in a Expo room, which hopefully will be a solid base for forthcoming events and networking. On Coeo we will also present a pan-nordic poetic programme.
The Programme
Our programme, as it is planned at the moment will be as follows:
Wednesday May 25 – Theme: Diversity and translation (digital and physical hybride)
– The Amanda Gorman debate – Who should translate what?
– Small group sessions x 3. Sessions with three journals, about their work with a specific issue, connected to diversity and translation.
– Seminar following up the small group sessions about diversity and translation. If you did this again, how would you do it? What have you learned today when you talked about your journal with other editors?
– Micro publishers in Nordic. Seminar with Ana Stanićević .
– Award. Presenting The best nordic cultural journal of the year.
Thursday May 26 – Workshop seminar (physical only)
– Workshop: Next steps of our nordic collaboration. What can be done and what will the next steps be?
